Description

"Students in Jazz dance under the direction of instructor John DeLuca are shown here in preparation for Jazz dance demonstration for upcoming Joy of Movement Free Spring Open Houses. Jazz dance is just one of over 50 kinds of dance and movement classes that will be featured at Open Houses set for: Sat., April 15 (1-6pm), at 536 Mass. Ave., Central Sq., Cambridge, and Sun., April 16 (1-6pm), at 'Joy's' newest location, 393 Boylston St., Boston. Instructor John DeLuca gave up a life in sports to become a dancer. DeLuca who had been a Varsity Gymnast throughout his schooling and had plans to make a career of it says 'Dance is twice as strenuous and three times as rewarding as competitive sports.' For additional information on Open Houses please call 492-4680."
