This photo was likely taken in New York City on June 12, 1982, at the Nuclear Disarmament march. An estimated one million people gathered in Central Park to march to the United Nations, coinciding with the United Nations Special Session on Disarmament. The Boston Lesbian/Gay Disarmament Task Force sent several buses of demonstrators from Boston to NYC to participate.
