In this recording of Boston's Other Voice, which aired on September 21, 1987, host Peter Stickel interviews Gary Dotterman about the Civil Rights March on Washington (the Second National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights). Gary Dotterman worked at the time in the office of Boston City Councilor David Scondras. He talks about his political agenda for the lesbian and gay community and events related to the March in October of 1987. Dotterman worked to organize the civil disobedience demonstration, scheduled for October 13, 1987.
