The mission of Fenway Health is to enhance the well being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community and all people in our neighborhoods and beyond through access to the highest quality health care, education, research and advocacy. In this photograph, a group of nine men and women with scissors cut the ribbon to open the new Fenway Community Health Center at 5-11 Haviland Street in Boston. This photograph is of a ribbon cutting at the opening of the new building on Haviland Street on March 1, 1991.
